Back in 2012 I stmbled across a YouTube video about Dropshotting and instantly fell in love with the method! Within a short space of time, I found I was catching some really good fish and realised just how deadly dropshotting is. Then the summer came, and I quickly realised that Perch liked to chase, so I switched over to jig fishing during the warmer months. There's nothing more exciting than feeling that UL rod bend round from a savage perch attack.
After being introduced to Gunki Lures, I never leave home without them, there is always a pack or three in the bag. The 5cm Kiddy has resulted in some excellent fish for me, big or small, the Perch just love them, especially on the dropshot.
If I could only ever give one tip out, it would be, Never leave home without your rod, it only takes one cast for the fish of a lifetime!
