Carl Marchant

I started fishing at aged five, mainly doing float fishing on the Avon with my dad.  I now do the teaching with both my daughter's.  I've done carp fishing on the pole to sitting on the bank for days but within the last three years I got into lure fishing which is number one for me, the part of lure fishing I enjoy the most is traveling light, walking miles and exploring every part of water you can find.  I mainly fish the river Avon and K&A canal in and around bath, plus I like to the coast as often as I can and enjoy Wrasse and Bass fishing which makes me a big fan LRF fishing.  I've have been very honored to win the first Todber manor evening lure league in 2016 and also win the hooked GB species hunt competition plus winning the UKLF species competition in the same year. 

 

I'm very proud to be given the chance to team up with Predator Tackle, and I'm always up for having fun on the bank to keep the fishing fun.

         

Favorite venue: K&A canal 

 

Most memorable session: Its has to be hooking my PB Perch from the K&A canal in bath.  It not known for big perch in that stretch of the canal and came as a big surprise.

 

Favorite lure: Gunki Kiddy in Orange with Chart Belly (perfect for drop shotting and also Gunki Tipsy S in Hot Fire Tiger.

 

Favorite rod: Its got to be the Gunki Iron T range.
